I’ve been a Depeche Mode fan since the beginning. Dave Gahan has fascinated me for many years. Something in his voice remains strong and vibrant, although it bears the scars of his numerous personal tragedies. Martin Gore is a brilliant writer. I feel privileged to hear his creative and sensitive compositions. Personally, this band encapsulates topics that I most resonate with, and I pray they stay around to gift their fans with more great rewards, even though I miss Alan Wilder’s presence.
