We are final year Performing Arts and Theatre Studies degree students at Swansea Institute of Higher Education, Wales. As part of our final dissertation, we are required to produce a performance piece that will be performed as part of a non-profit making student theatre festival.

Our group is devising a piece of theatre based on the subject of Blogs, that we hope will take the audience on a journey through the Blogosphere. BLOGGERHEADS aim is to provide an insight into the internet community by offering an alternative visual and theatrical experience.

When researching the millions of blogs available to the world, we came across your blogs, one of which we loved. We believe the story you have told will help us to illustrate the vast diversity of blogs that can be found within the Blogosphere. All the Blogs used in the piece will be included in the program as well as a link to your Blog, which will hopefully increase readers of your writing.

We would be very grateful for you to acknowledge your support of our project. Should you wish to find out more about our project please visit, http://www.theswanseabloggers.blogspot.com

Thank you in advance

All involved in the BLOGGERHEADS production.

Thanks, Bloggerheads. Good luck to ya.

Morgan

Hi. I was searching for one thing and found another. here I am. Midlife genesis. I am a terrible late bloomer too, but I did not perform the act of going to college like I should have. Of course it’s never too late to start again. I did squeeze out 2 years of art school many moons ago. yeah yeah blah blah blah.

I wanted to comment on your accidental handling of an innocent “house guest”. I’ve had many of those which I have ushered out unharmed, but sometimes you can’t help the accidents when they get hurt or destroyed. We’re all so fragile. Think of all the ones who you let go unharmed, and forgive yourself the ones who met with their fate a little early. Insects don’t live very long anyway. I will be adding your blog to my list of sites to visit.
Best of luck to you.
Ruth

Ruth,

Thank you for the lovely note. I appreciated your advice on forgiving myself (you must have read “Cricket Funeral”).

I was a sensitive and overly-imaginative child. I never grew out of it. Most times, I think it’s a good thing.

Good luck on your midlife genesis!

Dear Morgan Wolf,

I’ve a letter to write to you about Nick Cave, US-UK foreign policy, the dark night, spiritual release and rebirth… far too much to send via ‘blog-spots.’ Do you have a forwarding or email address to which I can write?

Best wishes,
Tim Coles

Dear Tim,

I will send an e-mail to the address you included with your comment. If you don’t receive it soon(it’s 1:12 pm EST), leave another comment and I’ll post a contact here, in such a way that the spam bots won’t see it. Looking forward …

Best wishes,
Morgan Wolf

Tim, et al,

If anyone wishes to reach me privately, please post a comment with an email address where I can contact you. Since comments are moderated, no one will see your information because it will be deleted after it reaches the moderation queue. I’d rather not post my personal contact info on this blog. This way, we all retain our privacy.

Thanks,
Morgan

Dear Jill,

I’ve emailed you as you requested.

Your comments here and on the Blixa page are so very kind. I appreciate your words and the time it took for you to find me and then write to me.

Words are very important. Language can be a barrier but, as we both know, music is a unifying force that helps us to communicate.

My observations about Nick and Blixa sharing a man to man kiss were honest. I believe that love and friendship take many forms. In this case, intimacy between two men who have lived so closely, who have shared the intense energies of creativity — which is an act of deep passion — is to be expected. It was beautiful. I am glad it moved you to write. Thank you!

Hi, was wondering if you have the mp3 of “into my arms” live at the songwriter’s circle? could you kindly upload it onto your blog? it’s my favourite version of the track! thanks

Hi Jessica,

I don’t have any mp3s here except for a few interview links sprinkled throughout the Nick Cave pages. That said, here is Songwriter’s Circle performance of Into My Arms. I agree with you - it’s my favorite, as well. Nick was in very good voice that evening. Wonderful.

FYI: I just added it to the list at Nick Cave Fixes Blog

Blessings, Morgan

what is that protected one…am i out of it??

Jill,

I will email you now.

Several of the pages are protected by password and no one is allowed in until I decide what to do.

I am very angry! Not at you but at self-righteous bully-boy prigs who’d be well off minding their own p’s and q’s instead of judging others. One thing I feel strongly - men are absolute bastards.

I’d rather not say anything more about it here.

Hugs,
Morgan

Hi Morgan!
I was reading the Nick/Blixa posts last week and now they suddenly “disappeared”…
I actually wanted to participate in the discussions and was already writing something during the weekend… And today I couldn’t find the threads. They are protected.
Can you drop me an e-mail, so that we can talk about it?
Thanks!
Marianne

Marianne, I sent you a note. Morgan

FYI: Anyone else who’s wondering what is going on, I am just now posting a comment on the front page of Morgan’s Musings to explain.

Peace, Morgan

Ah, nice to find more Nick Cave seeds :) If you check my blog you see I’m quite into the thing, though it’s in Estonian.
