Patrick Henry Democrats
My friend Brian sent in the results of The Patrick Henry Democratic Club of America’s Annual American Hero Award Winners. I’ll reprint a few winners and let you visit their site to see the rest (my comments in parentheses).
Senator: Paul Wellstone (yep, a dead guy)
Congressman: Dennis J. Kucinich (no surprise, here)
Congresswoman: Maxine Waters (I bow to her)
Villain: Bush/Cheney (as a unit – I am in accord)
FYI: Although I didn’t see it on their website, Brian tells me the First Runner Up for Villain of 2007 was Nancy Pelosi. HAR!
