He has a Scots accent, a quirky sense of humor, a rock and roll-y singing voice and just the slightest little overbite. And he’s so hairy. I love the way he seems to be able to grow a beard just by closing his eyes and concentrating.

BTW: If you watch Boston Legal, you’d know about Denny Crane’s ‘Shirley’ doll. That is a crazy but fun idea - if you’ve got the money. I’ve often thought about who my ‘doll,’ should be if I could afford to have one made, as Denny did. You wouldn’t believe the special features I’d order. Muhuwaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Wolf howls!

Amazing how hair continues to signify virility in our culture.

I recently got hooked on the man. I re-viewed Phantom and was enraptured by it the second time around. My roommate and I watched it on a rainy Saturday morning and were dripping tears by the end. For some reason, I couldn’t get into it the first time and didn’t ‘get’ what the big deal was. :D

Did you see Butterfly on a Wheel (also called ‘Shattered’) with Gerard Butler, Maria Bellow and Pierce Brosnan? Great movie! Gerard gets put through his paces in this freaky-ending thriller. Edge of seat stuff. See it!

There’s no doubt Gerry Butler is among the most masculine, sexy, down-to-earth movie stars there’s been in a long while.
He certainly appears to have it all in the looks department, and seems like a great guy too, judging from his interviews.
I love his hands and forearms most (dont ask - I have a thing about aforementioned parts on a man haha).

Glad you stopped by to leave a note about GB.

Folks, if you haven’t seen Shattered, rent it today! I noticed it again yesterday, while cruising my local Blockbuster’s aisles. Pierce Brosnan is on the cover but Gerry Butler is the other male lead. Brosnan plays a psycho who kidnaps Gerry and his wife. GB does some fine acting here!

Hi Morgan,

I have seen Butterfly on a wheel - brilliant film - fast paced - edge of seat stuff.
Another GB movie worth watching is “Dear Frankie” - if you dont shed a tear when GB’s character is walking with Emily Mortimer’s character on the promenade - then youre not a true GB fan.
Im going to Glasgow next week - hope I run into GB (wishful thinking ha!)

Glad you saw ‘Butterfly’ - I agree it was a brilliant film. Maria Bello was a very good acting partner to Gerry. Brosnan was fine, as well.

I totally feel everyone’s pain… I too caught the Gerry virus a while ago… he’s just too rugged down and dirty sexy perfection for his own good… and in SO many ways… I could go on and on… but there’s just something about those crazy Scotsmen… I do have to say I love me my Craig Ferguson as well :)

Gerard’s bit of a cock-eyed smile and free laugh are charmers! I thoroughly enjoy his “F-bombs” when given free reign on interviews. He has beautiful hands. Highly vascular. Very sexy!

Men need to take note of Gerard’s style. Real men do not shave there chests unless it’s for a part in a movie ;-) Real men can grow a beard.

Ladies… what about Gerard’s pheromones coming from that sexy spot between the jawline and ear? I’ve dreamt of it and it’s intoxicating;-)

I always loved the phantom the movie and wished for some way he could have “won”. I thought his character in Dracula 2000 was sexy. When I found out they were both Gerard Butler, it all made perfect sense. He makes my heart go pitter patter. I am a sucker for a man who looks like a man and a Scottish accent. LOL
